Dr. Abdulrahman Al Ansari is a distinguished banking executive with over 20 years of experience. Currently the chairman of a number of companies including Bid Capital Management Consultancy. Prior to Bid Capital, Dr. Al Ansari was with MBM Group, the private office of one of the Royal Family members of Dubai.

Mr. Abdulrahman holds a professional portfolio in many diverse sectors including Investment Banking, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Education, Commodities and Natural Resources.

Dr. Al Ansari also held the position of Executive Director at the DIFC. He also spent 6 years in Multinational Bank in Dubai and Hong Kong where he established and managed complete SME business in China.

A businessman, entrepreneur and Ambassador at Large for World Peace Committee and Peaceful Mind Foundation, Al Arshi has a Bachelor in Business Administration degree in banking , a Masters in marketing and a Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from the International Royal Academy of the United Nations.

He started his career at Standard Chartered Bank, where he held a number of positions, the last of which was director of external affairs (UAE). He was also director of the biggest branch operation for Union National Bank for the northern Emirates and has served as Vice-chairman of Al Kaheel Properties.

Al Arshi is the Executive chairman of Eminence International L.L.C. He also sits on various boards of reputed local and international commercial organisations

Tariq Mateen Khan is currently working as the Chief Operations Director at Bid Capital. Mr. Tariq is a senior banking executive with extensive hands-on experience of over 30 years, working in global financial institutions, in countries such as EMEA, APAC and the USA. He specializes in the areas of payment services, loans syndication and corporate and SME banking, credit risk management and bottom line orientation including extensive product knowledge.

He is qualified with a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science and other significant credentials such as Total Quality Management, Leadership Training and Six Sigma Training as a Green Belt specialist. He has a successful track record in substantially driving growth/profit in new markets, managing multi-billion dollar portfolios and creating landmark structured trade finance deals.

His prior work experience in senior management positions include American Express Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Mashreqbank and Habib Bank Ltd.

Prince Al Hussein is a seasoned executive with extensive investment management and new enterprise development expertise. He started his career as a financial analyst with Procter & Gamble (P&G) Arabian Peninsula and then continued his progressive career by joining Islamic Development Bank Group where he spent six years ending up the Chief Investment Management, Treasury Department, overseeing USD1.3 billion Dollar assets under management. Then he took the challenge as CFO & Financial and Investment Advisor to the Board to restructure Al-Nahdi Medical Company, the largest Pharmacy retail in Saudi and MENA region with SR4+ billion turnover. Currently, Alhussein is the General Manager and Board member of Arabian Falcon International, Saudi, the largest Independent Time share marketing company in the MENA region. He is also the Chairman of AlMohsin Holding, a private family owned International Investment arm focusing in Real-estate and private equity investments.

Prince Al Hussein has an MBA in Finance from American University, Washington D.C., USA and BA in Marketing (with Honors) from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is a member of Oqal Angel Investors Network and its Investment Committee, Saudi and a member of P&G Alumni.

Afsheen Hamdani is the Director of International Markets for the Company. Afsheen brings with her more than 11 years of diverse financial Institutions experience. Prior to Bid Capital, Afsheen was with Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in NY. HBL is the largest bank in Pakistan. Her experience in the banking sector included serving in the areas of Risk Management, Relationship Management, Finance and Compliance.

Previously, Afsheen worked as a consultant with the Mazar group in New York in their Governance Risk and Compliance practice. She managed projects relating to the implementation of a new compliance system. She reviewed the compliance programs and opined on the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and processes. During her time at Mazar, she also performed attestation services for Banks and Broker Dealers.

Afsheen has also performed several audits of the Capital Markets division at Freddie Mac, an institution within the secondary mortgage market. Freddie Mac is a US government sponsored entity, which provides liquidity to the housing market within the USA. (read more..)
